Daniel Soetan hails from Chicago, while his parents are from Nigeria. Last year, as a senior with Illinois Springfield, Soetan was named to the 2020 GLVC All-Conference Team while leading his team in both steals and blocks. Daniel’s a defensive nightmare with range behind the arc, and he grew up rooting for Derrick Rose’s Chicago squads.
